OVERVIEW
University Radiology Group, the largest radiology practice in the state
of New Jersey, is comprised of over 65 Board Certified Radiologists
offering diagnostic and treatment services in all modalities and all
subspecialty areas. The size of the group and breadth of training and
experience allow us to offer this comprehensive level of specialization
and expertise. Subspecialization helps insure that every patient receives
the very best care possible.
HOSPITAL & MEDICAL SCHOOL AFFILIATIONS
The members of University Radiology are the active radiology department's
staff at St. Peter's University Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson University
Hospital and the Perth Amboy and Old Bridge Divisions of Raritan Bay Medical
Center. The Chairman of the Radiology
Departments at these hospitals are all senior members of University
Radiology. In 2006, our radiologists performed over 450,000 radiologic
procedures at these hospitals.

Three Radiologists practice on-site at our East Brunswick facility.
A total of 300 people staff the offices of which 125 are full-time
or part-time technologists. Each office is managed by an Administrative
Technologist who works closely with the physicians and their staff
to insure a smooth running office operation.
Radiologic Technologists are of critical importance to the success of
the radiology team. All of our technologists are licensed by the State
of NJ and registered with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
In addition, each technologist attends on-going certification programs
in their specialty area and participates in in-house clinical and administrative
seminars.

IMAGING CENTER OPERATIONS
Corporate policies and procedures are standardized across all imaging
offices. Patients and referrers call one telephone number, 800-758-5545,
to schedule an appointment at any of the eight offices. This centralized
service assures patients of getting the next available
appointment regardless of the office location, if they so desire.
